River Usk - Talybont to Crickhowell

This is the section of the Usk with the excitement of Mill Falls and Spuhler’s Folly ledge, all negotiated without incident. Low water levels meant a lot of maneuvering around rocks. While playing 'follow the leader' this sometimes entailed slamming the open canoe into reverse on one or two occasions where the turns were a bit tight!
