A few members of the club joined a trip down the river Torridge, in Devon, organized by the Open Canoe Association. This involved two days of paddling with an overnight bivi (no tents allowed!) in woodland and cooking on open fires. What really made the trip for me was seeing my first otter in the wild - fantastic!
