Cricklade to Lechlade. For a change a few of us decided to paddle on the Thames. Cricklade is where the right of navigation ends although it's now difficult for all but the smallest boats to get very far upstream from Lechlade. This sounded ideal. With the river still high from the recent rain and the sun shining we were in for a great day drifting with the current, pushing through trees and at one or two points, paddling across fields because - well just because we could! (Paddlers: Dave, Kyle, Vicky and Zoe) Anything to add or comment on? Please do e-mail with your corrections and additions.....! |
