On the 5th May Ruth and Kyle took pity on a convalescing Dave and escorted him down the river Wye from Symonds Yat to Monmouth. Despite being a bank holiday weekend the crowds were constrained to the rapids and we had a surprisingly quiet drift down the river in lovely sunshine. Kyle sat on a wave, Ruth ate flies and Dave took it easy! We were just regretting not bringing a camera when in a flash of inspiration, Ruth pulled out her mobile and started shooting - this must be a first for the web site! Thanks to Helen for driving.
