Tarr Steps to Dulverton. Thanks to recent rain and Dave B's suggestion, the planned paddle on the Upper Wye was transferred at the last minute to the River Barle which drains the southern slopes of Exmoor. Lots of water and fairly continuous rapids made for entertaining paddling and by the end of the day each of us had experienced an upside-down-moment! If anyone finds a pair of wetsuit boots, last seen floating towards Dulverton, could they please be returned to Dave! All in all we had a memorable day in lovely surroundings. (Paddlers: Dave B, Dave P, Martin) Anything to add or comment on? Please do e-mail with your corrections and additions.....! |
